835 Denial Management Panel Abstract:
"We will discuss of how to utilize incoming remittances to streamline follow-up of delinquent accounts. Capturing the 835 and/or EOB and using it to improve the business process is a key position "owned" by the bank in the patient accounting cycle. Understanding how to integrate this technique to offer 'bank-driven' products and services, however, requires keen insight about the use of the 835, the patient accounting process, and at what points along the continuum of claims management the bank can add value. We will hear at least one established model define the ROI for a bank-driven 835 system."
