Moses Taylor Hospital Selects
ClaimTrust Denials Management Solution
Murfreesboro, Tennessee, November 2, 2009…ClaimTrust, a leading provider of revenue cycle tools and services for hospitals, today announced that Moses Taylor Hospital, a 173-bed full service hospital located in Scranton, PA, has selected its InSight Denials™ to increase billing effectiveness, improve cash flow and generate net new revenue.
InSight Denials analyzes, tracks, trends and reports on denial data to uncover the root causes leading to denials and provides best practices to repair them. Moses Taylor will use this solution to help uncover problems that lead to denials to identify and implement process improvements and permanently prevent specific denial types.
In order to expedite the repair and resubmission of denied claims across departments at Moses Taylor, InSight Denials leverages the power of InSight Workflow & Claim Editor™ — an intelligent workflow engine that applies client-specific logic to efficiently distribute denied claims requiring resubmission to the correct departments and to the individual team members, while maintaining a detailed history of actions on all claims. Using these solutions, Moses Taylor will now have the capability to increase its revenue, reduce denials and achieve efficiencies that were never before possible.
“At Moses Taylor, we needed a web-based denial management reporting tool to supplement our core systems and processes,” said Tina Zukowski, contract manager at Moses Taylor Hospital. “Though there are many revenue cycle reporting tools available, only ClaimTrust has the integrated workflow and customer service we needed in a solution. Our Revenue Cycle Managers have already used the tool to make several process improvements based on the analysis of our 835 remittance data. Additionally, we have already improved the time it takes to correct and resubmit denied claims by almost 5 days.”
“In today’s turbulent economy, it is more critical than ever before for hospitals like Moses Taylor to ensure they are collecting all of the revenue they are entitled to, as fast as possible,” said Joe Ferro, ClaimTrust president and chief executive officer. “Using our InSight Denials solution, Moses Taylor will be able to identify the root causes of all its denials, enabling them to learn how to avoid similar denials in the future, ultimately leading to an increase in revenue as well as improve the efficiency of its organization.”
