The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing detailed assessments of revenue cycle practices, developing management plans to migrate our clients to a Best Practice environment, and implementing the recommended changes identified in these management plans. Additionally, Senior Consultants have the opportunity to assist with developing Business Processes and software applications to ensure the sustainability of our engagements.

Candidates will possess a track record of success in a Hospital Revenue Cycle environment and 2 or more years of experience in Revenue Cycle consulting management. Candidates should possess a minimum of an undergraduate degree. Viable candidates should have significant subject matter expertise in transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize realizable revenue, minimize denials and accelerate cash flow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide detailed assessments of revenue cycle practices, develop management plans to migrate clients to a Best Practice environment, and implement the recommended changes identified in these management plans.
• Develop Business Processes and software applications to ensure the sustainability of engagements.
• This position will require 80% travel.

Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in hospital revenue cycle operations is required
• Minimum 2 years experience in revenue cycle consulting is desired.
• Significant subject matter expertise in transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize realizable revenue, minimize denials, and accelerate cash flow.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to develop budgets, forecast revenue, develop early warning signs and adapt the organization to achieve financial targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to facilitate process change.
• Proven leadership ability.
